The Vinyl Window Quick Repair Kit-sm is used for making fast repairs on installation damage to the nail fin of vinyl window frames. It only comes in white.
Neglecting nail fin damage can cause water infiltration issues and potential loss in litigation. To resolve nail fin issues, each kit includes a tube of 'Liquid PVC' vinyl adhesive that will weld PVC soft and hard-stock material to a damaged area. The flexible soft-stock material will form to warped or irregularities on the nail fin.
CAUTION: Do not squeeze the tube before removing the red ring! Excess pressure could cause the back of the tube to rupture. With the nozzle off, puncture the top of the aluminum tube with a tool or paperclip to allow the Liquid PVC to flow. Twist nozzle back on until very tight.
*Also note that if an unpunctured/sealed tube is older than one year, it could thicken and be difficult to squeezed out of the tube.
